Summary: The monograph analyzes the creative achievement of Yu. Mondalski and its significance for the species diversity inventory of the flora of the western regions of Ukraine and the preparation of the publication «Flora of Ukraine». The authentic text of the 2Bibliography of the flora of the western regions of Ukraine», which was prepared by order of the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, is presented.
