Summary: The monograph presents the information about cyclophyllidean cestodes of three families: Aploparaksidae, Confluariidae, Echinorhynchotaeniidae. The data on the morphology, biology, taxonomy, evolution, and phylogeny of the cestodes of these families are given. The host range and geographical distribution are analyzed. This given the information about 67 cestode species registered in birds of Ukraine, including diagnoses and identification keys to all taxa, illustrated descriptions of the species, information on their distribution in Ukraine and worldwide, lists of their definitive and intermediate hosts. The list of the hosts and the index of Latin names of taxa of cestodes are presented.
