Summary: In this monography the results of Viburnum L. and Forsythia Vahl. familys’ species introduction in Ukraine’s right bank forest steppe were summarized. Systematic position of those families was analyzed. Seasonal growth and development rhythms of the plants and their concordance with weather and climate conditions of introduction areas were determined. Effective ways of plant propagation were processed. Possible options to use objects of the research in compositional elements of decorative plantings were looked into.
