Summary: The publication presents the information about the life and scientific activity of one of the most famous researchers of fluid inclusions in minerals Dmytro Kostyantynovych Voznyak (November 22, 1938 — September 14, 2023), Doctor of Geological Sciences, long-term head of the Department of the M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of NAS of Ukraine. The scientist’s achievements in the young fundamental science of thermobarogeochemistry are highlighted. Attention is focused on the scientist’s experimenter abilities, various installations he personally created for the study of inclusions, and a list of his works was compiled. The main milestones of the scientist’s life and work are extensively illustrated with photographs.

Reading audience: It is addressed to scientists who are interested in the problems of genetic mineralogy and the history of domestic science.
