Summary: Based on the analysis of statistical data, expert assessments and information of international organizations, the main trends and threats of population and business migration, the functioning of the labor market of the Carpathian region of Ukraine in the conditions of external military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in March — April 2022 were characterized. The volume of external migration of the population as a demographic challenge in the conditions of the Russian invasion was studied. Risks and threats of intensification of internally displaced persons of Ukraine were identified. Business migration trends were analyzed and tools for leveling threats in this area were determined. The orientations of the stabilization policy and the use of opportunities for the functioning and development of the labor market of the Carpathian region of Ukraine in the conditions of war and post-war recovery were substantiated.
