Summary: The monograph presents an assessment of organic carbon stocks in the main pools of forest ecosystems of the regional landscape park «Nadsyansky», including phytomass, soil, forest litter and rough wood residues. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of the Yablunka Forestry of the State Enterprise «Boryn Forestry». Statistical data and data from own field studies were used to estimate organic carbon stocks. For the first time, the contribution of the forest logging to the balance of organic carbon was estimated for these areas, as well as the stock of organic matter accumulated in logged areas. An assessment of the spatial and temporal dynamics of organic carbon was carried out.
