Summary: Changes in quantitative and qualitative ratio of blood leukocyte types and their total number, as well as the integral leukocyte indices in rats during aging and under the impact of exo- and endogenous factors have been analyzed. There were investigated the effects of craniocerebral (Tb 32°C) and immersion (Tb 27 °C) hypothermia, hypoxic-hypercapnic model of artificial hypometabolism (Tb 16 °C), endogenous spontaneous hyperthermia (Tb 41 °C), the whole-body cryostimulation (at —120 °C in cryochamber), surface rhythmic cold exposures (at 5 °C air temperature), short- and long-term cold adaptation (at ambient temperature of —12 and 10 °C), as well as the initiation of internal circadian desynchronosis and injection of cryopreserved human cord blood nucleated cells. In rats of various ages, under these conditions, there were observed the specific changes in blood leukocyte indices and certain links of immune system, in particular, cellular and effector links, components of macrophage system, processes of immediate type hypersensitivity were predominant, and the level of immunoreactivity and adaptation of the body was mostly reduced.
