Summary: The monograph comprises all species of bryophytes which were reported from the territory of Ukraine. According to the contemporary taxonomic system the bryophytes refer to three divisions: Anthocerotophyta (2 species), Marchantiophyta (183) and Bryophyta (631 species). Within families the accepted genera and species are arranged in alphabetical order. Each taxon is provided with Latin and Ukrainian names, synonyms, data on habitat preferences and regional distribution, and references. Accompanying the work are excluded and doubtful taxa, index of synonyms and literature cited.
