Summary: The monograph is a comprehensive study of the specifics of the action of agents of social change in a society with unstable institutions. The research is aimed at creating a picture of the functioning of agents of social change that is adequate to the current state of development of Ukrainian society. Based on quantitative and qualitative empirical research, the configuration of key agents of change at the current stage of development of Ukrainian society, which operate in the institutional fields of state power, religion, education, medicine, science, journalism, digitalization of Ukrainian society, is described. The factors that determine the specifics of the interaction of various social agents, the peculiarities of the formation and implementation of collective and individual agency in conditions of unstable institutionalism have been studied.
