Summary: The monograph highlights the theoretical and methodological aspects of managing the green infrastructure of urban ecosystems in accordance with die scientific principles of the economy of nature use and sustainable development and the experience of implementing best international practices. The authors define green infrastructure as a component of the urban ecosystem, which unites a set of natural objects that perform economic, ecological, safety, aesthetic, cultural, recreational functions and ensures the formation of a favorable living space by all elements of urban areas. On the basis of a comprehensive approach, the work defines strategic directions for the development of green infrastructure for the formation of urban space, the implementation of which will allow obtaining aggregated results in terms of reducing the negative impact on the environment and improving the quality of life of the population. The author's methodological approaches to the assessment and accounting of green infrastructure objects of urban ecosystems were developed, as well as in the context of reforming the system of state environmental monitoring, the essence and components of green infrastructure monitoring were substantiated.
