Summary: Thermodynamics is a science that studies the transformation of energy from one form to another, and as well as phenomena related to the transfer of energy to or from the system. Principles of thermodynamics are the basis of most processes in chemical engineering, so this teaching has a large practical value in process analysis and equipment design. Accordingly, for specialists in chemical engineering, knowledge of thermodynamics is an important component of professional preparation This study guide is a course of lectures on the discipline and also includes theoretical materials submitted for independent study by students. The textbook examines the basic laws of thermodynamics, thermodynamic analysis of solutions and mixtures, as well as mixing processes, evaluation methods thermodynamic properties of substances, issues of equilibrium and analysis of processes.
