Summary: The Dictionary contains a comprehensive range of socio-political vocabulary, encompassing both older and contemporary, reflects the dynamic growth of its lexicon in response to significant restructuring of society’s social structures and changes in the political system, a re-evaluation of the meaning of existing terminology, and the re-evaluation of existing terms and their semantic nuances. The article outlines the key terms and concepts that are most commonly used in the social sciences, including philosophy, ethics, ecology, aesthetics, political science, sociology, sociology of law, conflictology, international relations, psychology, and cultural studies. The Dictionary of Modern Social and Political Lexicon (1991–2022) has been compiled with the objective of providing an overview of the practical experience gained through previous research in the Ukrainian social and political domain, and of recording the most recently developed vocabulary in this field.
