Summary: The monograph analyses the theoretical and practical problems of science and education aimed at solving the problems of social and individual human life, developing industrial and information technologies, forming entrepreneurial competences and entrepreneurial culture in universities. The paper shows the transformation of the interaction between basic and applied research in science, education and medicine. The achievements and risks of transforming universities from academic model of an educational institution to entrepreneurial university and the introduction of academic entrepreneurship in Ukrainian higher education institutions are highlighted.
