Summary: New ideas about the formation of the structure of the crystalline basement of the views on the genetic features of certain types of ore deposits are presented. The general metallogenic features of the Bug mining area are determined by the Eoarchean history of its formation and the processes of early Proterozoic transformation. It is shown that the structural and textural paragenesis of the rocks of the district was formed about 2.0 ± 0.3 billion years ago, although the age of formation of the Middle Bug granulite complex, judging by the U-Pb age of individual zircon grains, is Paleo- or even Eoarchean. These parageneses reflect mainly horizontal compression or extension of the Earth’s crust. The mechanism of their formation is not related to the Archean sequential rhythmic layering of volcanics and sediments and their subsequent metamorphism with preservation of the relative position of the strata in the section, as some researchers believe, but with the transformation of tangential compression forces into simple and pure shear deformations. The latter lead to the movement of matter at the atomic and molecular level (with mineral transformation of rocks) and rock masses at the regional level. This results in the formation of new parageneses that overlap, but more often erase, the structural tissue of rocks from previous stages of deformation. On these principles, the structural and petrophysical map of the study area at a scale of 1:100,000 was constructed, which is presented in this monograph.
