Summary: Antibacterial therapy and perioperative antibiotic prophylaxis are an important section of modern medicine. Against the background of the growth of antibiotic resistance worldwide, which poses a real threat to humanity, the creation of new reliable and highly effective antibiotics, the low level of diagnostics and uncontrolled, irrational use of antibiotics, this urgent problem is of national importance and requires comprehensive treatment. First of all, it is assumed to raise the level of theoretical and practical knowledge of medical workers. The development of clinicians with microbiologists is also emphasized.
