Summary: The analytical note is a generalization of the results of the study of various aspects of the formation and evolution of the memorial discourse in the context of the historical, cultural, linguistic, and religious memory of Ukrainian society, which found itself facing the challenges of the RussianUkrainian war. The processes of the evolution of the collective memory of Ukrainians, starting from 2014, are studied and interpreted, with the main emphasis on the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine in February 2022, on the perpetuation of the memory of the heroes of the armed confrontation and the problems of war memorialization, on the formation of national identity in its context; the issue of religious and linguistic identification and memory of Ukrainians against the background of aggression is raised, as well as the issue of world and national memory of wars in general. Based on the study, recommendations are made on the streamlining of memorialization practices, the formation of national, linguistic, and religious consciousness of Ukrainians in war conditions.
