Summary: Methods of data processing using computational statistics are presented. The results of radiation measurements, long-term monitoring studies of radionuclide migration, optimization of sampling and determination of the content of radionuclides and components of chemical composition in them, determination of crystalline phases of substances by X-ray diffraction methods, and other research problems in the Chornobyl zone required the use of statistical analysis. It is shown that computational statistics methods can be successfully used to solve scientific and practical issues.
