Summary: The monograph examines the basic aspects of understanding globalization in comparison with the religious discourse. It is proved that the current understanding of globalization significantly shifts research interest from the problem of the general impact of globalization on religious processes to the aspects of religious glocalization, socio-religious transformations at the regional and local levels. It is shown that each of the world religions historically had been appeared as a globalization project, which was reflected in the modified ideologies of globalism. Thus, it is substantiated that the mutual influence of religion and globalization has a complex dialectical nature. The authors consider various aspects of confessional transformations (including theological ones) that take place under the influence of geo-religious processes in religious organizations operating on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, it is about the forms and consequences of opposition or use of globalization processes by religions.
