Summary: The monograph is dedicated to the analysis of Attic Black-Glazed pottery which was found in Olbia Pontica at different times of the city’s research. The author examines the historiographical aspect of the issue, reveals the main technological features of this type of ware, and uses modern typological schemes to classify the finds. The monograph contains an extensive catalogue of finds, which includes both textual and illustrative parts and has about two thousand items. Much of the material is published for the first time. The publication was prepared within the framework of the scholarship program «Documenting, Recording, and Saving Ukrainian Archaeological Heritage», provided by the German Archaeological Institute (Deutsches Archäologisches Institut, Berlin, Deutschland).
