Summary: The book is devoted to the question of the role of symbiotic communities of aquatic organisms in the structure of freshwater ecosystems. The results of observations of the structural parameters of symbiotic communities of aquatic organisms in different conditions of anthropogenic impact, experimental investigations of the influence of some abiotic and biotic factors on the formation of symbiofauna of aquatic organisms of different taxonomic groups are presented. The description of the distribution of the phenomenon of a symbiosis among different taxonomic groups of freshwater living beings is proposed. The suggestion concerning the role of invasive species in the structural rearrangements of symbiotic communities in freshwater ecosystems is proposed.
