Summary: The monograph presents models of the equilibrium state of electric power industry in market conditions. The models reflect the behavior of energy companies, technological and system constraints in which they operate. The modeling problems are formulated in the form of mixed complementarity problems. To solve them, the quasi-Newtonian method with regularization of the Clarkе’s generalized Jacobian and column-row-factorization of matrices was used. Examples of modeling the equilibrium states of the UES of Ukraine as well as the interconnection of electric power systems of the Benelux countries, France and Germany are given.
