Summary: The electronic scientific publication identifies problematic aspects of the state of the environment and social development of the Carpathian region of Ukraine based on the analysis of data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine and its main departments in Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Lviv and Chernivtsi regions and the authors' own calculations. Their consequences in the context of the impact on the quality of life of the population are indicated. The results of the assessment of the ecological and social environment of the quality of life of the population of the region by the method of integrated assessment are reflected; analyzing the progress of quality of life using three approaches — innovative, resource, cost; modeling and visualization of the relationship and impact of social and environmental determinants on the quality of life of the population in the context of the Carpathian region. The priority directions, tools and means of the regional policy of improving the quality of life of the population of the Carpathian region of Ukraine are determined.
