Summary: The Collection includes abstracts of scientific reports presented at the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference organized by the Volodymyr Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Law of Ukraine «On Environmental Protection» and the 20th anniversary of the Land Code of Ukraine, held remotely on November 12, 2021. The subject of discussion is the historical preconditions for the adoption of the Law of Ukraine «On Environmental Protection» (June 25, 1991) and the Land Code of Ukraine (October 25, 2001), their role in shaping the modern system of domestic legislation, experience and implementation of these acts, scientific principles of further development, accelerating the systematization of environmental, land and other natural resource legislation in the context of sustainable development, Ukraine’s policy on European integration and decentralization of power, as well as new opportunities related to the introduction of modern information in legislation.
