Summary: The monograph focuses on understanding and exploring the challenges associated with implementing digital twin (DT) models in the energy sector. An in-depth analysis of the application and results of DT is provided, and the benefits of creating digital twins for renewable energy sources are highlighted. The monograph presents the concept of digital twins of photovoltaic power plants and provides a definition of a digital twin. It also classifies digital twin models. Recommendations are formulated, and the key principles of digitalization, decarbonization, deregulation, democratization, and decentralization of renewable energy sources in the context of wartime and post-war recovery are analyzed.
