Summary: The monograph is a continuation of the geological-paleooceanographic investigations, the results of which are published in the book "Geological Paleoceanography of the Tethys Ocean" (2004). For the first time in the native geological literature complex of problems, which are the subject of the chemical paleoceanography, is considered. The development of this scientific direction is covered by the example of investigation of the ancient epi-pelagic and meso-pelagic basins of the Carpathian-Podillian-Black Sea continental margin of the Tethys Ocean. The processes of sedimentation during the separate age phases of the oceanic anoxic events, fixed in the deposits of Neo-Proterozoic-Phanerozoic, are considered. The avalanche deposition of the triad Corg-P-SiO2biog caused the formation of the black shale, phosphate- and silitca-bearing sequences and related minerals.
