Summary: The monograph is dedicated to large-scale ethnocultural processes that took place in Ukraine from the Upper Paleolithic to the present. The purpose of the study is to reconstruct the anthropological history of the ancient and medieval population of Southern Eastern Europe, which culminated in the formation of the physical features of the Ukrainian people as the indigenous ethnic group of the region. It is claimed that anthropology has high cognitive capabilities and methods that allowed reproducing documentary portraits of some prominent figures in the history and culture of Ukraine of the princely era, the Cossack period, and modern times.
