Summary: It is a scientific and information data publication of ancient human cremated remains which constitute a separate section of bioarchaeological collections of the Institute of Archаeology of the NAS of Ukraine. The collections date back to a wide chronological range, from the Eneolithic to the Middle Ages. The monograph contains information about the archaeological site, its location, a list of objects, from which the cremated human bones originate, references, and archival data. It also has sections on the possibilities of studying cremation remains in bioarchaeology and field excavation methods. The publication was prepared within the framework of the scholarship program «Documenting, Recording and Saving Ukrainian Archaeological Heritage», provided by the German Archaeological Institute (Deutsches Archäologisches Institut, Berlin, Deutschland).
