Summary: This monograph describes abiotic and biotic peculiarities of ecosystems of the marine ports aquatories, their role in preservation of diversity of indigenous species of hydrobionts and acclimatization of alien species based on examples from the Black-Azov seas basin. The role of artificial channels and shipping ways in the dispersal of alien species of hydrobionts from hulls’ fouling and in ballast waters is estimated. The relationships of biota of the brackish water seas of Europe in the modem globalized context are analyzed.
