Summary: The authors of the scientific monograph have come to the conclusion that the adaptation mechanisms of socio-economic systems to global changes and challenges require the use of resourceefficient technologies, the introduction of innovations, environmental protection and security. Basic research focuses on diagnosing the financial capacity of territorial communities, ensuring the competitiveness of socio-economic systems, preserving human potential, and increasing environmental sustainability to ensure sustainable development. The research results have been implemented in the different decision-making models for the use of financial instruments, strategic planning, critical infrastructure development, information security management, artificial intelligence, clustering and sustainable urban development management. The results of the study can be used in the developing of European integration policy, development of territorial communities, post-crisis recovery of Ukraine, and the formating of a new paradigm of society to ensure sustainable development and security. The results can also be used by young scientists in the educational process and conducting scientific research on sustainable development and security of socio-economic systems.
