Summary: The atlas was created on the basis of videos of real surgical interventions using the ligaturefree method of thyroid gland operations developed by the authors using the «Patonmed» apparatus. The proposed technique allows not to leave any ligatures in the wound: which do not dissolve, and creates optimal conditions for performing the surgical procedure on a dry field, which increases the anatomical orientation in the wound and helps to reduce postoperative complications, including specific ones: damage to the parathyroid glands and laryngeal nerves. In 2023, the State Institution «V.P. Komisarenko Institute of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine» received a certificate for the specified technology «Method of ligature-free operations on the thyroid gland using the «Patonmed» apparatus»
