Summary: The monograph examines the problems of forming and implementing modern organizational and economic mechanisms for the revitalization of small rivers in Ukraine. The structure of the principles of the formation of the institutional environment for the sustainable use of water resour ces in the basins of small rivers and the complex of organizational and economic mechanisms for the implementation of water management and water protection projects for their revitalization, which are based on the principles of harmonizing the diverse interests of the subjects of water mana gement activity and the need to preserve the biodiversity of small river ecosystems, have been deve loped; proposed economic levers for ensuring the sustainable use of water resources of small rivers and the implementation of their revitalization projects, which, unlike the existing ones, provide for a wider use of market instruments for investment support for sustainable water use; an algorithm for the step-by-step implementation of small river revitalization projects has been developed, which in volves carrying out a set of measures to identify the main problems of water use in small river basins, identifying sources of investment support for the implementation of water management projects and applying the principles of integrated management to make effective decisions.
