Summary: This monograph presents new advances in development of the theoretical foundations of manufacturing processes and the results of research conducted in the years 2022 and 2023 in three important for the organization and implementation of these processes directions: applications of fundamental sciences in manufacturing processes; modelling and optimization of manufacturing processes; engineering safety in manufacturing processes. It belongs to a series of monographs published last years to the development problems associated with these directions issued in Opole University of Technology. This monograph presents new research results in the area considered and like other monographs of this series contains three separate volumes on designated and specified issues. Due to the complementary study certain topics specific to one volume, also appear in the volumes devoted to a different topic. Materials presented in of this monograph are obtained also as a result of the continuation of scientific cooperation in the field of development so broadly defined issues of manufacturing processes conducted by Opole University of Technology with separate domestic and foreign research centers (Poznan University of Technology, the University of Zielona Gora, Polish Ergonomic Association in Warsaw, Institute of Applied Mechanics and Mathematics of the National Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and its Mathematical Modeling Center and the National Universities named of Ivan Franko and Lviv Technical University in Lviv (Ukraine), Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) and the Technical University in Kosice (Slovakia)).
