Summary: The educational and methodical publication is intended for deepening knowledge and carrying out laboratory work on the theme «Fundamentals of Biochemistry. Proteins». The publication generalizes modern theoretical knowledge on the structure and functions of amino acids and their polymers – proteins in living organisms. The practical recommendations for the isolation, identification and research of proteins are presented in the form of laboratory works.

Reading audience: The publication is intended for the students of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the educational establishments in which chemistry is the subject of in-depth study.
