Summary: The purpose of this manual is to provide clarification in an accessible form on the correct conduct of patent and market research, the processing of applications for registration of objects of industrial property rights and copyright in Ukraine, and the possibility of their international registration. The experience of commercialization of objects of intellectual property rights created as a result of scientific research is analyzed.
