Summary: The present book is an inventory of the names of algae species found in the algal flora of Ukraine up to 2011. The present volume is dedicated to taxa of algae of Chlorophyta (345 genera and 1,381 species – 1,510 infraspecific taxa). For each taxa, nomenclatural data including basionym, main synonyms, as well as occurrence and distribution in Ukraine with references to world distribution is gives. An atlas of original drawings and microphotographs of new and some rare species or taxa from Ukraine are described and noteworthy recordings for this flora are included.
