Summary: The monograph summarizes data on morphology, life cycle, ecological and etological features of cuckoo wasps (Hymenoptera: Chrysididae) of Eastern Ukraine. The present-time species list is established, the keys for identification of the tribes, genera, and species of chrysidid wasps of Eastern Ukraine, are given. The morphological characteristics of all developmental stages of chrysidid wasps are discussed. The data on cocoons’ structure, microsculpture of cuticle and host-parasite associations are emended and analyzed. The flight periods and microhabitat distribution of the adults of cuckoo wasps recorded in Eastern Ukraine are established. Also, their economic importance is discussed.
