Summary: For the first time in the history of geologic research leading scientists and specialists in geology working at the institutes and organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine created “An Atlas of the Geology and Minerals Deposits of Ukraine", scale 1:5000000. It consists of seven main sections: maps with general geographic and remote sensing data, geophysical maps, maps of structural regionalization, lithologic and facial, ecological and geological maps and maps of minerals deposits. There are 75 different maps with brief description of each one in it. Many of them are published at the first time. The Atlas features complex data on geologic constitution, mineral resources and geoecological situation of the territory of Ukraine. The Atlas is unique edition due to its saturation by various geoinformation and scientific-methodological base and has no analogues in the world.
