An assessment is given and a forecast of the impact of invasive species on the functioning of the biotic component of ecosystems is provided (on the example of the M.M. Gryshko NBG of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine). The results of the work on the morphological-anatomical and physiological-biochemical bases of the resistance of plants of tropical biomes under conditions of stress induced in two experimental models (in vivo and in vitro) are given (using the example of representatives of the Asparagales order).
